I think back to when I first started getting serious about my writing and bumbled my way through the publishing world--it was a trial and error type of existence for years. Many of the editing services I came across were with larger companies and very expensive.

I love collaborating with writers, working on manuscripts, polishing query letters, or working one-on-one for ongoing workshopping sessions. No matter your need, I'm ready to jump in. From navigating the literary journal space to providing in depth developmental edits on finished manuscripts, I'm ready to guide you to whatever your next step is on your creative journey.

Query Letter Critique: 1-Day Turnaround / $45
Ready to query agents but don't know if your letter stands a cut above the rest? I will provide editorial feedback, line edits, and recommendations for how to polish up your letter and put your best foot forward with your manuscript.
*Specializations: literary fiction, genre fiction YA, short story
collections, and memoir.
Short Story Critique: 3-Days Turnaround / $5 per page
Have a short story that you want to begin submitting to journals or editors? Have you already submitted it but it keeps getting rejected? I can provide developmental feedback, line edits, and overall direction to help elevate your story...and perhaps even have it land in a literary journal.
Developmental Edits: 3-Weeks Turnaround / $3 per page
You've completed your manuscript and are now wondering what's next. You know you want to either self-publish or query an agent for the traditional publishing route. I will provide edits on everything from pacing to character development and everything in between. This edit includes detailed feedback on your use of the elements of fiction and a complete overview on the quality of your manuscript.
One-On-One Workshop: Minimum of 4 Weeks Commitment, 1x a Week / Sliding scale pricing; contact for more info
Whether you have a drafted story you want to edit together or you want new prompts each week to practice working on the elements of fiction, we can make these workshop sessions be whatever you want them to be! Sessions take place weekly for one hour on either Zoom or Google Meets. Customizable, informal, and generative!

Want to host a generative writing workshop for a group of 4-12 people? I will lead the session with customized prompts based on your group's needs. These group workshops are fun, informal, and are meant to provide space for writers who want to a) carve out dedicated time for their writing and b) want to connect with other writers.
